On Site Consulting: The underlying premise for a Debra Thompson on-site consulting visit is very simple: The success of any business is dependent on the internal relationships between and among the management team and all of the employees. Profitability is a direct result of the cooperation and attitudes of your internal organization. A successful business depends on the right mix of people, the existence of well defined and clear systems and procedures, and an environment built on open and healthy communication throughout. Unless these are all in place, there will be internal conflict and stress. The fallout impacts directly on your external customers and puts the business in a destructive downward spiral. Only through positive employee attitudes and stress free working relationships can the business delight and retain customers, provide improved productivity and quality, and thereby, increased profitability.

Debra has a unique proven five step methodology for her on-site business consulting:

Step 1: Obtain owner's perspective and goals: As part of the preparation for the visit, the owners are asked to complete a confidential questionnaire which helps clarify the state of the business bopth financially and proceduraly. In addition, the owners identify their goals and issues. Additional conversations are used to prepare for the on-site visit.

Step 2: Obtain employee input: All of the employees are profiled using the Proception2 Personality Profile analysis. In addition each employee provides Debra their personal goals and issues.

Step 3: Understand the managers and the employees: Debra interviews every individual in the company including owners, managers and all employees. Through this interview process and Debra's uncanny ability to see inside of people, she unfailingly finds the sources of conflict and stress within the company.

Step 4: Observe company operations: Debra observes the team operations, reviews the business processes in motion and evaluates the ongoing communication. This is designed to confirm the findings from the interviews and to determine other factors affecting company performance.

Step 5: Develop an action plan: Debra meets with the management team for a frank discussion of the findings and to develop an action plan to deal with the issues that have been identified.

The length of an on-site consultation varies depending on the size of the team and the number of personnel to be interviewed. Generally businesses that have a staff of 8 or less can be completed over a two day period including travel time. Larger companies will require proportionately longer times. The cost includes Debra's time for the visit and the after action report, the Proception2 profiles, and reasonable expenses.

Virtual consulting services: Our virtual consulting services focus on helping owners and managers find, develop and retain a top notch team. We provide assistance in all aspects of the people management process that starts with developing ads for hiring, proceeds through administration of competency testing and on to final interviews and selection. We can tell you how to do it, we can provide the tools for you to do it or we can do it in part or all for you.
